Canceling a Subscription

Canceling an unwanted subscription can take just a few taps with Hiatus. After opening the Hiatus Dashboard, locate the subscription you want to cancel in the “Upcoming Bills” section. Tap on the subscription and then “Manage Subscription”. From here click on “Cancel Subscription”. A new screen providing the subscription’s details will come up. Once the information for the subscription is provided, your subscription will be canceled by the Hiatus team as quickly as possible to prevent further billing from the vendor. 


If a certain subscription can’t be deleted straight from the app, the user might be directed to that vendor’s website. From the vendor’s website, a user should fill out their information and the cancellation process will take place. Other vendors require that the subscriber reaches out personally to cancel their account. If that is the case, Hiatus will send you step-by-step instructions and walk you through any issues. Please allow 2-5 business days for your cancellation request to be processed.
